Sir Andy’s grandfather has said both mother and baby are doing well. Roy Erskine, 88, told The Sun: ‘It’s a wee boy, I don’t know his name yet. I’ve seen photos. They’re doing fine.’ The birth comes as Sir Andy continues his comeback from major hip surgery. Following his win at the European Open in Antwerp last month, he joked that he needed to get back on the road because his ever-expanding family was getting ‘out of control’.
